Marta Nater

Marta Nater was born in the beautiful island of Puerto Rico but raised in the northern parts of Massachusetts & New York cities since age 1. As a child, Marta & her siblings were victims of harsh child abuse. Each one suffered at the hands of their strict & demanding father well into their teen years. Child Protective Service, who were supposed to help them, turned a blind eye, therefore failing them time after time. These traumatic experiences lead author Marta Nater to write her three-part vigilante justice series based on the horror she lived through as an innocent child. Marta’s fantasy adventure novel is part of an ongoing series based on villains who go to extreme lengths to be noticed & heard in order to change cases involving child, sex abuse & even racism issues. This fantasy adventure positions the protagonists as villains fighting against a rash of different injustices. Each villain featured has an agenda & cause to fight for which leads them to be noticed, heard & get their messages across at all causes. The series serves as an example how we can help save America’s children by recognizing the signs of child abuse & reporting, even if through advocacy. Let’s educate child protective services allowing them to improve their methods when it comes to handling child & sex abuse cases & at the same time help make racism issues improve. Marta Nater is also a Gold Book Award Winner of 2022 by Literary Titan

“To inspire & empower those who been abused as children or wronged by the justice system to fight for what’s lawfully right through writing & advocacy.”

I love this book! The story is well written. It is contemplative. I really had to pause and think as I was reading. The story was fast-paced and had a positive message. Love this book!

I love this series... I found the storytelling fantastic. What really makes me happy is that this story has a message in it and this is what every story should leave you at the end in my opinion. I recommend it if you want an immersive but still meaningful read.

Black lives matter- This book is the second series that follows the first one to which I read and I have to say I like this one more. This following second novel brings out as sends out a powerful message. From the very start I was drawn to the story, each chapter captured my attention. The characters are amazing and each one plays a different role in its cause for justice along with an agenda. I was blown away by the hidden truth behind villain Cora, a truth that made her the dangerous villain she became to be. I wasn't too surprised Cora is a lesbian, based on her past I kind of thought she was from the start. Amadou fights for his people and against an injustice system in law enforcement areas as others. Jerico and Danny are caught between what is right and wrong and lose their way while at it. They are both faced with dangers that arise out of nowhere. I didn't see the romance coming between villains Jerico and Nina, that was unexpected. Don't know why but I like the character mad dog Hideous, he's no game though. His heart is filled with revenge, he's up to no good and does all he can to bring Jerico down to his knees. Beast Shadow Claw happens to be my favorite character, I felt for him as he lost his daughter Cherry. He tries and does his best to keep some peace between his villain friends. His daughter Darla is a lil sweetheart, I can only imagine her future role to be more active following the next novel author brings about to a finish. While the book remains fictional, there are areas that seem true such as the statements made by villains as they express their anger, thoughts, and beliefs. What I also liked was how the NY public also played a role and didn't make things any easier for law enforcement to capture these villains. There is plenty of drama, some added action against the government officials who are after them, plus romance that leads to love and sex.

The book is well written, author did tremendous writing and brought out the facts that at times hold back the justice system. Appropriate for these times when the lives of people are taken for no reason or just because. Many people will enjoy this book for the strong message that it sends out, while others will not like its message. After reading this book, I do understand some of the reasons why people become who they become in life. I was taken away by the author's final message. There are powers that come from above that are out of our control but with a purpose. I look forward to the third final series of this novel. The book was worth buying and reading, fully enjoyed. Highly recommended!

I always enjoy reading books with a good purpose to them. Books that come with a meaning like this one often make one realize the kind of world we live in. One rarely sees or comes across villains who fight for children's rights, for harsher punishments for pedophiles, sex offenders, and above all racism. This book has plenty of drama to go around and has suspense and action in every step as a decision is taken by each villain in their quest for justice for those who deserve it. I did read the first book which starts with the main characters, their goals as purposes, and so forth. In the first book, each villain is portrayed individually while in this second book, the villains are either against each other or fight together for a cause as a team. The storyline is outstanding and the book can be read as a stand-alone especially since the introduction of the book gives a detailed scenario of what took place previously in the first book. I very much enjoyed reading this book, I didn't find the 20 chapters as long as the first book which consisted of 30 long chapters. Many things happen and or take place during the reading. The characters have much charisma and are either loved or hated for what they do and stand for. One of my favorite characters is Cora, who is cold at heart, harsh, and spiteful. Though after reading all about her background as a story, I know why she's as so. I understand her state of mind. I do like the characters Nina and Jerico, even though both are from different sides of the law, they make a nice couple. Character Amadou who stands for black lives matter happens to be one of my beloved favorites. He brings relief and hopes to his people, leaving his mark of justice the only way he knows how to, by making noise to be heard by the proper legal channels. Beast Shadow Claw and his daughter Darla are powerful characters. Commissioner Danny also portrays a good man and officer of the state though I see him as being in the middle of it all, but remains neutral. I also like how the public witty pitches in to help some of their favorite villains.

Readers should check out the book trailer for this book to get a better understanding of what the book is about. This was an interesting good read for me and non-boring. The book is an easy, well-written descriptive book in its whole complete storyline. Indeed a great novel that continues to a third one. Thumbs up! Great writing.
